Make-up video with message on Persecution of Uyghurs goes viral

Feroze Aziz, a 17-year-old Muslim American, posted this video above about eyelash curling on the Chinese social media app TikTok.

TikTok blocked the video and suspended her account because she talked about the persecution of the Uyghur people in China’s Xinjiang region.

The clip has been watched more than 1.4 million times and “liked” nearly 500,000 times on Chinese social media app, reports ABC.
