A prayer for farmers and agricultural workers

Let the farmers’ names be named and recognized, this very day and for all times

Little does it matter if it was rice, or bread you had for breakfast
The farmers’ sweat and struggle brought them to your table
Your kin and mine, faceless, tilling the sunbaked earth
Doggedly sowing, scattering the seed, for the harvest
So the rest of us could keep going somewhere.

Let the farmers’ names be named and recognized, this very day and for all times
Their dignity fostered and respected for them to live their lives in peace and harmony
That all our pleadings may be realized and made manifest in the name of Jesus, our Lord
That it be God’s will, as it was meant from the beginning and forever. Amen. Hallelujah.

Support Our Mission

We work tirelessly each day to tell the stories of those living on the fringe of society in Asia and how the Church in all its forms - be it lay, religious or priests - carries out its mission to support those in need, the neglected and the voiceless.
We need your help to continue our work each day. Make a difference and donate today.
