Catholic entrepreneurs in Goa, India, are promoting a referral-based business network that recognizes trust and mutual support rather than commission payments, organizers said during the 175th meeting of Goa Dimensions’ South Zone on May 28.
Held at the Nanutel Hotel in Margao, the gathering brought together business owners from across sectors, including construction, consulting, printing, finance, food supply, and electrical services.
Goa Dimensions operates through regular meetings in the North and South zones of Goa, providing a platform for Catholic entrepreneurs to exchange referrals, share professional experiences, and support one another’s businesses.
A distinguishing feature of the network is its approach to referrals. According to organizers, members who pass business opportunities or referrals to fellow entrepreneurs do not receive commissions or a share of the profits. Instead, they are recognized through formal “Thank You Notes” presented during meetings.

Organizers said the practice encourages members to recommend one another’s services based on trust, professional merit, and a shared commitment to mutual growth rather than financial incentives.
The meeting was held under the leadership of President Jason Andrade and the organization’s executive committee.
As part of the program, members Gabriel Pinto and Batista Fernandes shared their professional and personal journeys during the group’s “Diamonds” segment, while Russell presented information on mutual funds.
The gathering also included a business leadership session led by Floyd Tavares, founder of the L.E.A.P. Movement.
The event opened with a prayer and a minute of silence in memory of Fr. Bolmax Pereira before concluding with a vote of thanks and a communal dinner among participants.
