‘Wells of Hope’: Women of different faiths unite to combat human trafficking

The above video from Rome Reports explores a multi-faith effort to stop the trafficking of women in the Middle East.

An exodus of millions of refugees has provided a boon to human traffickers in the Middle East, putting untold numbers at risk of sexual exploitation and organ trafficking.

A new documentary called “Wells of Hope” looks at how a group of Muslim, Christian, and Jewish women are placing themselves on the front line in the battle to stop those praying on society’s most vulnerable.

A project of the same name organized by Talitha Kum, a network of religious sisters against trafficking, is also seeking to fight for the forgotten and give a voice to the voiceless.
