The Diocese of Borongan in the central Philippines held a 14-km ‘Rosary walk’ to celebrate the month of the Holy Rosary, which Catholics in the country celebrates with fervor and piety.

Bishop Crispin Varquez of Borongan, together with members of the clergy, led the activity that started in the city center.

The Rosary walk was one of the spiritual initiatives organized by the diocese to ask for “divine intervention” for deliverance from the new coronavirus pandemic.

Support Our Mission

We work tirelessly each day to tell the stories of those living on the fringe of society in Asia and how the Church in all its forms - be it lay, religious or priests - carries out its mission to support those in need, the neglected and the voiceless.
We need your help to continue our work each day. Make a difference and donate today.
