IN PHOTOS: Eucharistic celebration marks SIGNIS World Board of Directors meeting in Thailand

Archbishop Peter Byran Wells, Apostolic Nuncio to Thailand, and Cardinal Francis Xavier Kriengsak Kovithavanij, Archbishop of Bangkok, led the celebration of the Eucharist that marked the start of the SIGNIS World executive board meeting in Thailand on November 27.

Over 400 people, including 20 SIGNIS officers, attended the Holy Mass in St. John Parish in Ladprao district in Bangkok City.

Father John Baptist Somkiat Trinikorn, pastor of St. John Parish Church, Father Anucha Chaiyadej, Director of Catholic Social Communications Thailand, and Fr. Stanley Kozhichira, President of SIGNIS Asia, also concelebrated the Mass.

Dr. Paolo Ruffini, prefect of the Dicastery for Communication, was also present at the Holy Mass.

SIGNIS, or the World Catholic Association for Communication, is recognized by the Vatican as an International Association of the Faithful with the mission to “help transform cultures in the light of the Gospel by promoting human dignity, justice, and reconciliation.”
