Evangelical church torched in India’s Madhya Pradesh state

Police have already launched a probe into those behind the burning of the church

A Protestant church was set on fire by still unidentified individuals in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

“I do not know when it happened, but we came to know it on Sunday morning,” Pastor Mahesh Kumre told Matters India on February 13.

Police have already launched a probe into those behind the burning of the Evangelical Lutheran church, the report said.

It said that people came to know about the incident only on February 12 when they went to church for Sunday service.
